Sarah Brickley

Sarah began her career teaching third-grade bilingual inclusion classes with Teach for America in the Bronx. Then, as a fourth-grade teacher at Success Academy, 100% of her students passed the New York State exams. She went on to lead the Success network’s elementary math program, whose results consistently ranked in the top 1% of New York State. Sarah then became director of the Achievement First middle school math program, where she spearheaded a shift to culturally relevant curricula. Sarah has also taught at an American school in Morocco, trained NYC Teaching Fellows, and consulted with a number of charter networks to expand students’ access to grade-appropriate material, skillful teachers, and supportive environments.
Currently, Sarah is a math coach, curriculum developer and PD leader in Lowell, Massachusetts. She holds a B.A. with a double major in journalism and Spanish from New York University and an M.Ed. from Lehman College.
